Having two full days to play in a significant amount of snow (with the promise of at least a third) is a very rare event here in exurban Atlanta. Rarer still is having 5 or 6 whole inches of snow to play in. It happened my senior year of high school, but that's the last time I was here for such a thing. In the interim, of course, I lived in northern Ohio and in Boston, so I have seen much more snow than this...but my kids haven't (well, Ari did when we lived in Boston, but he was one then, so I kind of doubt he remembers it). This (above) is the view firstish thing Monday morning from my front door.
